Bill Bandhan

A retail business runs on more than a bill.

Bill Bandhan is being built as a product for small and medium-sized retailers who need more than basic invoice generation. The broader goal is to bring everyday retail operations into a more connected system rather than treating billing as an isolated task — the product is intended to support the retailer's operational workflow as a whole, including billing and the management processes that surround it.

The question isn't "how do we generate a bill?" It's "how do we create a practical retail-management system that fits the way smaller businesses actually operate?"

• Owns the technical architecture and product direction as Co-founder & CTO.
• Builds the mobile product in Flutter across the retailer-facing experience.
• Handles backend and API integration connecting the app to Bill Bandhan's data and services.
• Makes the technical decisions that shape how the product evolves as more retail capabilities are added.
• Responsible for engineering direction, product-workflow implementation and deployment/release.

Bill Bandhan is being developed through Lazy Tech Savvy, with product, engineering and business responsibilities distributed across the founding team — Subhajit's focus is the technical and product-engineering side of the business.

• Keeping billing practical for everyday usage was the starting point — the product needs to work the way a small retailer actually operates day to day, not the way a more sophisticated enterprise system would.
• The product is designed around the retailer's real workflow rather than a single billing screen, which is why store operations and customer management sit alongside billing rather than being treated as separate add-ons.
• Onboarding is treated as part of the product, not an afterthought — a dedicated agent-facing workflow supports how new stores actually get onboarded, rather than assuming retailers self-serve from day one.
• The subscription/SaaS direction is being kept in mind early, since it affects how account and feature-access concepts need to be architected later, even before a full commercial model is finalized.

Bill Bandhan is built with Flutter on the mobile side, backed by Strapi and a set of backend APIs that the app integrates with for data and operational workflows. The system is structured around the retailer experience and the workflows that support it — including store onboarding — connected through a shared API layer to the backend.

Hardware integration details will be added once the implementation details are documented.

Bill Bandhan is currently at MVP stage. The product is being built and refined at Lazy Tech Savvy around the retailer's core billing and shop-management workflow, with the broader store-operations, customer-management and business-management direction still being developed.
